4-As both capacitor and reactor are thyristor-controlled, it responds rapidly in both directions (inductive and capacitive).The first commissioning of the SUPER-SVC is very easy. With dip-switch, it is sufficient to determine the current transformer ratio in the system. No other settings are required.
5– The SUPER-SVC can be connected to the system in parallel with power factor controller.
6-Due to fast response, it extends the working life of PFC output contacts and contactors in the system.
Also the SVC unit can be connected to the welding and spot welding machines in parallel. (For local compensation)
